Figures are this client's actual averages before and after commissioning. Your own result will depend on your tariff, consumption pattern and roof - it will not be identical to this.
The challenge
Critical medical loads cannot tolerate even the few seconds a diesel generator takes to pick up the load.
What we did
The hybrid inverter isolates in under 20 milliseconds, so the ICU and OT circuits never actually see the outage. The DG now serves only as third-level backup.
Project notes
A hospital runs a heavy, continuous daytime load - HVAC, diagnostics, lighting, sterilisation - which is well matched to solar generation.
The backup requirement, however, is what shaped the design. Critical circuits were separated at the panel level and are now carried by the battery bank instantly, with the diesel generator demoted to a backup-of-last-resort role.
